So *with* the baffles, how much louder are Staintunes than TORs? After riding my Stella 2-stroke (think homicidal popcorn popper) and really enjoying the roar of the trip through the gears, I jumped on my *much* more powerful Bonnie and was disappointed at how quiet it is - still stock on the pipes. Ideally, I'd like the TORs, but I don't like how conspicuously they say, "Off-Road Use Only" stamped into the side of them. I don't want LOUD, just something to remind me I'm on a bike...

I have a set of Staintune Baffles in my shed.I think I would displace 2 families of spiders if i moved them.So out of sympathy I leave them there.

So, the baffles are in. Slightly quieter, but not much. I am becoming more adept to the sound of my new beautiful pipes. Get this, this week I have to be at work early, so leaving house at around 5:45-6am. I rolled my bike out of the underground garage up the hill  almost to the end of my block and only then started it, Will do the same tomorrow.
I have not heard the sound of TORs but understand, from previous posts somewhere here, that the Staintunes are much louder with or without baffles.

Out of my scoots it goes like this:
1. Vespa LX150 is the quietest. I can use it any time of day or night.
2. Vespa PX150. (or equivalent of 2 stroke Stella)
3. Guess what I am rolling out of my garage early mornings?
Cheers.

modded or no? I'm running a Sito+, a DR177 kit, and a Si 24/24e carb, and the Sito+ is a little rusted out from heavy winter use, so she's pretty loud - not JL loud, but many times louder than stock. All bark, no bite. Much more bite than stock though!
