Want to improve the front and rear suspension on my bonnie. The stock bike set up is for a lighter weight rider then me. I come in at 5'11" and 225#. My bike has M bars and NH rearsets which I enjoy on the mountain roads. The only brand of shocks that advertise for "heavy duty" that I know of are Progressives that can be had for riders over 200# . Can't find weight info on Icons or other
brands of shock. Same goes for the fork springs. Any assistance would be appreciated.

I just got Ikon 7614 rear shocks + progressive fork springs for my bonnie.
I also weigh #220, and I got "#222" springs with the shocks, which should be suitable for my weight (+ some pillion riding) according to Brent @ Newbonneville.com.

Works performance. http://www.worksperformance.com/ I bought the shocks and fork springs for my Scrambler. They know their stuff. I wish I had a photo of my shocks, but I'm just too tired to take one right now. BTW, Works Performance are what just about everyone has on their bikes out here in SoCal (those who have upgraded). They were referred to me by two different mechanics. The owner himself rides a T100.

I got THESE
I have M bars and weigh 205 and this is the best mod for the money that I have made. I can really throw it on a rail in corners and don't feel like I'm going over the bars from the dive when I stop.
