Don't blame the factory, or the dealer. Stick around... they don't stay in sync long....
It's really sweet when they're right, eh? Buy a balancing guage.. you'll need it to keep them that way.

In reality the carbs should stay in sync for a good long time unless something else changes that would throw them out. These are not like the old Amal carbs that were on the early machines. These carbs don't wear the slides at the rate of the Amals, and shoudl stay in sync for a fair length of time......

Syncing them is certainly something you can feel in the seat of your pants as well as hear.....

Doggie--what have you done to your bike? Whenever you make a modification like pipes or rejetting, it's a good idea to check the carb synch. A series of minor modifications over time, plus simply the passage of 6K miles would be enough to cause the carbs to go out of synch. They don't have to be very far off for it to be noticeable. Now that you know how smooth the bike can be, you'll probably notice it when it goes out of synch, as it will become rougher and you'll probably have some vibration. One-eighth turn on the synch screw is often all it takes to set things right. Besides, every Bonnie rider needs a set of sticks!

Until my 2-yr warranty expires, I'm making a conscience effort to not mess with the engine or carbs personally. In addition, any mods I do decide to perform myself are subject to confirmation that my warranty will not be adversely affected in any way.
Me too.

:-D
Jeremy is an A1 super cool guy, and a good wrench. He was on the phone with me for probably 30-40 minutes last week helping with my electrical problem, and he didn't make a cent over the deal.

I am going to let him take my bike for a spin though.
