Does anyone know if the Triumph brand Slanted Leather Panniers require any additional hardware to mount them on an America? I don't see any mention of any mounting hardware or brackets in their accessory catalog. Thanks.

Those Triumph bags are very tiny, I'd think twice before spending that kind of dough for such a limited carrying capacity. I put on a set of Saddleman bags, hard-mounted to brackets for a lot less than $200.

Hi Al,
Yeah, I know they're a little on the small side but I'm an old retired fart and all I'll be using them for is carrying around a few tools, my coffee cup and a good book or two. A stint in the USMC a long time ago taught me that rain wont kill me so I dont even bother with rain gear anymore. Thanks for your input though.

Might want to do a search here and at
Bonnievilleamerica.com on the Triumph bags.

There are lots of folks who were not so happy after
they sent their hard earned cash.... :asb:

Just a friendly fyi.
