Got the bike dynoed, sorry I dont have the technology to post a picture, but she put out 60 rwhp, 49 ft/lb torque, and a nearly perfect A/F of 13 across the whole rev band, and at steady state. The graph has a theoretical perfect red line, my line is blue, and it follows the red line so close they appear to be 1 purple line.
Frank, at Sun Cycle, was impressed.
I can recommend their dyno, and they appear to be a pretty good full service shop as well.
G.
40/140 jets with 1 shim on a thrux needle, 3.25 turns out on pilot screw, sprint mufflers, uni pods.
thanks Jenks

On my old 790 i had airbox removed and predators. I was running 1 shim 45's and 145's. Never had it dyno'd but it ran well. Better do my homework before I start modding my new 865. Seems to be quite a difference with the thrux needles.

Here's my 790, no air box with D&D's.. Running 42 pilots thrux needles and 150 mains.. The dyno run was done at 2000ft so at sea level it might make more.. As you can see at the end of the RPM it gets crazy so I think it's on the rich side..

04BBonnie, Did they chart your AF ratio? You seem to be making great HP with that motor, if you bought a Procom High Rev ignitor you would be pleased. If your patient you can find em new on Ebay for $100.

Geof, Awesome to know you got it right! UNtil the nextmod of course......never ending!

Vert,
No AF chart.. I'll have to go to a local dyno and see what I come up with.. I have a Thrux rev box that I might try and exhaust cam... I guess she runs good for a 790 with no air box and D&D's..
The only other thing I did was port match the intake manifolds to the head.. The stock manifold are quite small compared to the ports in the head..

wow , you are making some good power. It looks like you might get even a tad more if you get that top end figured out perfectly.
Mine was making more power as it climbed, but Frank was hesitant to bounce it off the rev limiter, so we called it quits at about 6800 rpms
