Thought I'd shake a few cob webs from some of you. I just read a recent post that had the link for Domi Racer.Well looking at thier posters reminded me of a poster I remember from the mid 70's. Does anyone ever remember the poster that was a sidecar (worm) cresting a hill at Isle of Mann catching air? It was a very large poster and was very very wide, but not very tall? I guess something that would fit over a sofa or similar space. Anyway, if you remember it, cool, but if you know how to find it, OMG! please let me know! thanks, Biff

I have a 68 T-shirt based on the one Dylan wore on the cover of Highway 61.

Guess that doesnt answer or help either of you. But there is a long string linking the comments.
:-D

Don't remember that one but Domiracer is a great place, I used to get parts for my old Triumph there. They have an original Mcqueen great escape poster there which is around 5 feet tall, also a great showroom with Vincents and just about every other motorbike there if you ever are in the area.

I can't find the poster you seem to be describing, but I've had a great time looking through the motorcycle collection at Vintage Arte.

Any of these interesting alternatives?

Here's a cool jumper:

And I've always been partial to these dustbins:

thanks Mancha, I've looked for that thing on and off for a really long time. I too have enjoyed looking at all the sidecar stuff, maybe someday I'll stumble into it. If I post everyonce in a while, someone new might see it and know the one, Hey, I still believe in the easter bunny to!

Is it a photograph or an art poster?

it was a photo sold in a poster, like they you used to sell in the back of cycle magazines. If i remember it correctly, it appeared to be maybe 2 feet high but maybe 4 to 6 feet wide. most of the picture was focused on the sidecar fillling up the poster, it showed them cresting a high and catch a small amount of air under the rig. I'm guessing it was a suzuki rig because I remember it being yellow, I think. I very much enjoyed looking thru that link you attached brought back fond memories! Thanks

I'll keep on the lookout for it. And by the time I find it I'll have forgotten its importance. :-D
