Wear one.

Oh, you wanted specifics!

I use a Fulmer Modus flip-up full face. I've got an enormous melon and it's one of the few that fit me comfortably. Because it's a flip-up, it is noisier than regular full-face, but I wear earplugs, so it's not much of an issue. I may not look like a stereotype (think the Bonnie/rocker version of the Harley pirate), but it's good protection and cheaper than facial surgery.

I got mine when I got the bike a soft sided 3/4 Bell. Looks real good w/ the bike & is quiet w/ the softsides! They zip out if you desire- I dont!

HJC-CL15 full face-its comfortable and didn't break the bank, and a something or other 1/2 helmet with soft sides I had from the scooter. I'll wear the 1/2 helmet on warm days with the sides on like CAPTDON, feels better and is quieter. Ear plugs to spare your hearing with or without any helmet. The full face obviously provide better protection in any accident, physics dictates you will always land where the protection ain't. My likes are for the 1/2 helmet with the visor on any of the traditional motorcycles, they look cool to me. If I could only have one, no-brainer I'll take the full face.

questions for you
are you good looking - if not get a shorty -
if yes - get a full face
do you have good health coverage? yes - doesnt really matter
no- get the best one you can afford- all the features do play out in various weather conditions

someone once asked me what is my head worth

oh. how about loved ones - got anybody in your life who might want to be able to talk to you in big words.

spend some money on your helmet - not overpriced triumph brand t shirts . and buy the one you want - you will only regret buying the other one later

I have a shoie rf1000 - its nice and light and funky and good ventilation

I have a shinny black Nolan N102 Modular. Fits the bike to a tee and my head also :-D Plus I do not like to eat bugs while I ride :hammer: :-D

HJC's are great, I think it really all depends on your melon size, try em all 1st, HJC is huge bang for the buck

Bradford,

Check my recent post. I bought the matte black; my Bonneville is black/white. Hmmmm, have I correctly accessorized?

I'm diggin' it, though. I'll probably like it in the hot weather as well, a shieldless lid is like riding into a blow dryer.

Cheapest I found was $75.50 but not sure if shipping was included.

Full-face.

I think two styles that go well with the Bonnie are the Arai Quantum II Retro Black and White and the Arai Vector Phil Read.

Yeah, forget the HJC. The Arai Phil Read gets it. That is SHARP!
