I like my HJC CL-15. It's white, cheap, comfortable and let it sit on the seat when I park. I removed the HJC sticker so it would look cheaper than it is and nobody wants a white helmet anyway...

If anyone out there is seriously considering buying a new fullface helmet, you'll be doing yourself a serious injustice not trying the Suomy Vandal. Amazing. And solid black is just under 300 bills.

I have a full face 'glass/kevlar EVO 700 "Fury" Model in white/silver. Its D.O.T. and Snell rated. Removable liner, not too heavy, nice visor set-up, good ventilation. Quiet, no lift at up to 120 kmh (fastest I've gone so far) Excellent price compared to Arai (less than 1/2 the price).

Good luck!

Ah, the old question - wind in the face or protection if you fall?

I have a Caberg open flip up with visor for when it's warm and a full face for longer rides or when it may rain.

I guess it's a trade-off with safety v pleasure - I tend to take the risk

God knows what the Harley Pirates are thinking in the US when they wear no lids! AND most of them are doctors/dentists.
I wouldn't dream of not wearing a lid - but then I'm not as hard as HD riders.

Figure out exactly the maximum you can spend on a helmet, add another $100 and go shopping with that. I have a Shoei RF-1000 and love it.

I have a lack of self-control when it comes to something that catches my fancy. Ran across the new MOMO helmets and couldn't resist. After trying several of them on i decided on the MOMO Fighter...it has a very Speed Racer feel to it and it's a great riding helmet. It's definitely not for everyone, quite pricey, but i haven't regretted it a bit.
