I have an HJC Full-Face. My dentist owns several bikes and has shown me pictures and X-Rays of riders that have gone down, it will really make you think.

While the above Arai helmets are pretty cool I think the Scorpion EXO-700 seems like the best bang for your buck. I really like mine.

I also have a HJC an CL-SP. Yes, fits well and great bang for the buck. But man, that Arai Quantum II Retro Black and White would really match my bike to the T(100 that is). Another nice Arai helmet is the Profile UK Flag. It will take me awhile to save the $$$s for either one.

Extra Motorcycle: dya mean the one outside?
I have a Caberg "Justisimo". It has a flip-up front which I tend to keep up when riding in town for increased peripheral vision and an internal tinted visor (which can be moved up and down with a small lever on the side of the helmet). Also, it has a pretty good safety rating.

Check out Davida helmets. They are a British company that makes some really cool oldschool helmets that fit the bike perfectly. Mine is not DOT apporved, but they are now making a couple of choices that are. I really like the fit and finish of my open face and nothing beats having the wind in your face expirience, but I also have a full face that I wear at night or on extended rides sometimes.
Good riding.

I had an Arai Quantum f and loved it. 5 years old and ready to replace so I just got an Arai Vector and it's working great so far. Fits differently than the Quantum, but still an oval shape - I can't wear Shoeis because of their shape for example. Fits well, is light, comfortable, well vented, good de-fog capability - so far I like it! And it's $100 less than the Quantum2 so I like that too.

I'm going to turn the Vector into a Read replica using retroreflective checkers, etc. I'll take photos when it's done.

And yeah I'm a full-face fan. They've saved my jaw too many times in the dirt for me to want to expose it on the street. That and the bugs in Oregon in the summer don't feel too good on the face at 60mph!

All said, & various Makes & styles. The most imortant thing (besides being sturdy/safe) is ventillation! A hot helmet is ahh hot? Hwy & local can call call for different venues as well. All said wear a lid & ride safe!!!! :hammer:

HJC CL-Max and Nolan N102, both flip-ups because I wear glasses. I like the Nolan better. They're both good value for the money.

I use a Shoei RF-1000. I tried on every Arai and every Shoei. The RF-1000 fit me the best. Pick whatever quality helmet fits, then pick your color.
