So when I get home my wife says hop in the car we've got some errands to run. Then she says we need to stop by CMC to drop off some jackets for consignment. As we go in I walk by a bonny black with a SOLD sign on it, but I didn't think anything of it. We talk to the CMC folks for a bit and then my wife walks over to the black and asks me how I like "her" new bike. I say yeah yeah funny - let's go get the jackets out of the car. She says no really... We go back and forth for a few minutes (all the while the CMC folks who are in on it are trying not to laugh). Then I realize she's serious when their sales person asks us to go in the back and sign the papers!

NO WAY!!!

I'm still gobsmacked. Don't want anyone to pinch me because I don't want to wake up. :razz:

Congratulations on a fine wife and great new bike!

April 3rd: I spotted a little note on the back of my birthday card that said "go look in the garage" and discovered that my Hubby had gotten a green Bonnie delivered that day. When I asked what he was going to ride, he lifted a tarp to reveal a Bonnie Black for himself.

So, my only question is... whose bike is it really? Hers or yours?
