Based on number of pageviews in the last month, this forum - The Bonnie Owners Forum - is the most active of any forum on TriumphRat.Net.

The Speed Triple forum may have more posts, but it is second to this forum in pageview activity.

Why do you think that is?

Hey, Shawn, good to hear from you!

To answer your question: I guess we don't ride enough!

Shawn - I believe the folks who access the Twin Talk part of the forum are actually interested in what others write .... interested enough to read their responses, thereby increasing the pageview count.

Seriously, I think we are all very interested in our bikes, and value reading about what others have learned over time that might be useful to us.

Also, for reasons known only to the Almighty, the members of this forum seem to have a genuine respect for each others' opinions, and tend to read to learn not only about the bikes, but about what other forum members think about a number of issues.

Bob

I would put it down to the moderator MA0458 and his guiding words of encouragement to those of us who cross the line of good taste from time to time. It makes the forum very readable with not a lot of dribble.

The requests for help are heartfelt from real people all facing the same struggles as all of us. There is an esprit de corps (I think that's right) amongst those of us who reply.

The Bonne attracts a strong character type I believe which is found across all demographics...not sure how to describe it but that's the same as the bike really.

This forum is such a great resource that there are many people who rarely post. They simply pull info from its pages. That's why you have more views here than posts on the S3 forum. I think it says a lot about the validity of the information here.

Maybe it could be that the Bonneville is the top selling bike in the product line? More owners = more interest in related forums?

This forum has a bunch of good friendly and helpful people, many of whom I have met in person both in Ohio and California, that make it fun to take part.

Maybe its because most responses are helpfull and on topic. As a member of a Ducati website where many posts and responses are vindictive, sarcastic, and even personal attacks, I enjoy the supportive and informative nature of this forum.
