I was hoping to have an auxiliary power line somewhere on my 2007 Bonneville to power a Magellan GPS. Anyone have ideas?

I checked out the TouratechUSA website and, though they carried RAM mounts for Magellan GPS units, they did not list any power kits. However, if you have a DC plug for it (ie: cigarette lighter receptacle) Touratech has kits to install a power supply plug. Link below:

The auxiliary power plug is under the tank on the left hand side.
If you need the BMW type socket you can get it from your dealer for around $30.

I changed my stock headlight to a Sylvania H6024XV, and when I did that there was a connector(switched) left over inside the headlamp assembly that powered the front parking lamp.
Because my GPS draws very little power I just ran my GPS power cord into the headlamp assembly and put the connector from the parking light onto my GPS power cord.
