I think I'd like to have a set but not sure of the pros
and cons of each style. I like the looks of both but I
like the HS's a little better in the looks dept. I think I read some wheres the HS's are not concave and take a while
to get use to...is this true.

How about vibrations and blured images?

Has any had both and prefer one over the other?

What do you think?

Thanks.

I've got the hindsights and they are great. Not cheap, but worth it. Clear view, no vibration, even at the ton. They make the bike look alot better. I have had people pull up at lights and tell me they knew I was riding something cool when they were behind me and saw the mirrors.

I don't know anything about the hindsights, but the Nap's are a lot cheaper, and you can see a TON! No vibes, easy to install, adjust, they are a bit bigger than the hindsights, but the visibility rearward is amazing.

I had a set of smaller bar end mirrors, with flat glass (non convex) and couldn't see sheit.

long story short, 1 vote for napoleons.

Never had the Napoleans but have the CRG's and really like them. Zero vibration and can see across the rear of the bike. The main reason I chose them over Napolean's [or others like Napoleans] is I wanted a low profile look; the CRG's delivered. :upthumb:

Have only seen HS's in in photo's. To me they don't look right. Maybe they look better out of photo's???

Guess it comes down to personal preference, sounds like HS's and Napoleans both do a good job of being a mirror.

I put the Napoleons on and am very pleased. As sweat says, the view is great. They are larger than the Hindsights as well and stay clear. They are a bit of a pain to install, but well worth it. I suggest it comes down to what you want - the Napoleons are better "mirrors", but the Hindsights have an edge in the coolness department (although the Napoleons are pretty good looking on the Bonneville - mine are black).

I've had both, and they are both great. It's really a matter of style and budget.

Sweat - you must have put a bar snake in or something???

I'm also using the Naps on low cafe bars (like you used to have) and the Naps shake like a leaf at anything over 3,000rpm.

But like the old Italians say: "Whatsa behind me dona matta!"

+1 on the affordability of the Naps too.

The CRG's are concave, that's what gives you such a wide field of view. Of course, objects are closer than they appear, but easy to get use to. I love mine, I have the Lanespliters, worth the extra money!

+1 for the CRG's
I just put them on last week and love them. I was a little unsure at first - very different look from the stock but the visibility is great with the convex mirrors and now I totally love the look. They're definitely more $$ but they are high quality. I am not much of a mechanic but I was able to install in about 15 -20 minutes. If your going to go for the hindsights - spend the extra ten and get the lanesplit version - less nerve-wracking when splitting (easily flip in) and also easier to cover - good luck. - Adam
