Seems that my 06 T-100 does not have adjustable suspension. There is no adjustment screw as indicated on page 85 of the owners manual. Am I missing something here?

You are probably looking at the Thruxton settings. The Bonneville rears can be adjusted, but the front requires spring change, pre-loading, oil level, etc.

Be careful when using the specs. that you have the right machine, Bonnie, T100, Scram, and Thrux are all in there.

Actually, I should have been more specific. I am referring to the REAR springs, as the front are fixed indeed, and I knew they could not be adjusted. There is no adjustment screw or hex, simply an open port. Page 85 refers to adjusters for ALL MODELS. There is nothing to turn clockwise or counter clockwise.

Oh, an open port! Sounds like the "nub" that accepts the tool to adjust the settings is not there, perhaps broke off or the shocks are after market. You can, with a good grip, simply turn that bottom adjuster. It's even easier if you grip the spring and yank upward whilst [English variation] turning the bottom.

Old Triumphs came with a rather large "spanner" to do the job. I always used my hands.

GOT IT!!!

The picture on page 85 shows a "slot" or set screw. So I was wondering why there was no screw to turn. Once I figured out that the entire bottom adjuster ring sleeve actually rotates, that then made sense. A simple 6 mm hex tool pulling the housing did the trick. It was kind of frozen at first, then moved easily enough.

duh! I'm just a 30 year experienced mechanical engineer who simply cannot read instructions!!!

Thanks for your help

You can install Thruxton preload adjusters on a T100. Instructions are in wiki. With the Jenks handles they look like the photos below. Mine are on an 05 T100 with Bella Corse Western bars.
