I'm toying with the idea of getting a 2nd bike, and may decide to sell my 05 Black/White T100. 3300 easy miles, no scratches, corbin smuggler, lowered, flanders bars, D&D's, 150 rear tire, custom mirrors, vintage grips, lucas style light kit, no problems whatsoever. Aso, all original parts, except pipes. Bike runs like a top. What's a fair asking price?

Well, don't lowball it if your are not desperate; the last two Triumphs I sold at what I thought was a fair price wound up being a bit miscalculated. From the standpoint of a buyer, I always like tho see the word STOCK because I know what it ought to look or be like. Either STOCK or "I have all the stock stuff in a box".

Your bike sounds really nice, especially the low miles making it like like a "new" used bike. Why not knock off the usual depreciation that occurs [how to figure that out????] and let the horse trading begin? You can always go down from the starting price.

But why sell it at all? Personally, I think a Triumph is THE bike to have if you can only have one.

Good luck!

Most add-ons don't return anywhere near their cost, especially when they're on the bike you're selling. For example, it's doubtful you'll get any (or much) less for the bike if you put the stock seat back on. Then, you can sell that Corbin for a few extra Franklins separately. Ditto anything else you can put back to stock. There are plenty of guys who would happily buy good condition aftermarket stuff. I used this strategy selling my last Harley and really made out.

Dang Jeff - you just bought a Corbin!! If you buy that smuggler, sell that Gunfighter to me!

ROBD - swap as many of the stock parts back on it, price tag it at $6500 obo, price the aftermarket parts you pull from it for about 75% retail with "obo" ... and you should get a fair price across the board.

Good luck.

Try kbb.com. I think they have a motorcycle appraiser that should give you a ball park. Then check out your local cycletrader for comparison. Good Luck!!!
