Group,
Have been reading on this site for some time and may have the opportunity to pick up a 2003 T-100 at a reasonable price. Are there any inherent problems with that particular year that I should be aware of before making the plunge.
I remember reading about certain years having problems with clutch baskets and jetting, etc. Your feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I bought mine in 2003 new.
I wouldn't ever sell it.
I live in the UK and rode it from London to Sicily and back in 13 days, thats approximately 3400 miles, doing 85 mph on the highways, riding the twisties through the alps, averaging 280 miles a day. with zero problems and my only maintenance was routine chain adjustment.
I love this bike and there's a whole load of stuff you can do to it, it never stops, a real enthusiasts bike but without the head aches.
Buy It! you wont regret it for a second

I bought my 03' T100 about a year ago with 750 miles on the clock. I have not had an issue as of this date. It sat for 4 months during this past winter and cranked right up this spring. Everywhere I go I get compliments from every type of bike owner. I cannot say enough good things about this bike. You will not regret buying it. FWIW.

Guys,
Thanks for your timely feedback. This was the type of information I was looking for. I'll keep you posted if things work out the way I'm hoping.
Many thanks again.

I bought my lucifer orange '03 new, and I've had no problems of any kind. It it completely stock except for OEM add-ons like a center stand and seat grip bar. I did have an issue with the front brakes being kind of weak after a year or so but speed bleeders from newbonneville.com took care of the problem. I bought EBC HH brake pads at the same time but have not needed to install them. It's a great bike; go for it. I know you won't be disappointed.

I bought an 03 T100 early December of 2005. She had approx 4100 miles on the odometer. She and I have traveled a bit over 13000 miles since that time, and she has yet to let me down.
I've had other machines that were rock solid, but just no fun to ride.
Bonnie has been both dependable and an absolute riot to ride, whether on the 2 lane State Route and county roads of NE and SE Ohio, or as a traveling machine on a 5K trip, where my buddy and I were on the road with our Bonnies for two weeks.
I'd do it again!

Massive problems in 03 - they cry out for mods like crazy. Just like all those other lousy bonnies......
Caveat emptor.
