Erwin thanks for the response I think the only adjustment I can do is on the bottom braces slid them forward all the way there is only about a half inch adjustment as for the top I didn't see any adjustment unless I missed something

I have the summer screen on my speedy. I have never tried another screen but I haven't noticed your particular complaint.
I am 5 foot 7 and find that the screen has a few positives and a couple of negatives.
Firstly it takes alot of weight off the chest so much so that I have to keep an eye on the speedo now. If you don't have to hang on as hard the brain thinks you're not going fast. It also reduces the amount of bugs that decide to kamakazi your visor. For cooler mornings you get a good wind break and it feels to me as if there is a slight vaccuum behind the screen. This may simply be a reduction in the wind hitting your chest and it results in some weight being put back onto your arms. I will experiment with bars that pull back further so I don't lean as far forward when the minister for finance allows. When sitting or stretching up a bit at 110 kilometers an hour there seems to be a bit of turbulance at the top of my helmet. On my last long trip I thought the visor was vibrating a little. At my height the rubber edging that Triumph supplies seems to be in my line of sight though you get used to it and I suppose you could remove it. It is a little painful to put on and I will let you all know how hard it is to remove when I get around to it.
I have done the same ride with and without the screen and it was 1000 kilometers in length. It was definately better with the screen and I will keep it on for the long rides but would like to remove it for around town.
Hope my rambling helped.

Hi, I'm 6' and have the Summer Screen. I was getting head buffeting so I bought the Memphis Lowers from Fast Eddy. Now the buffeting in minimal. I can now read the highway signs. Oh, I have an 2002 TBA. A Red one their faster!

I mounted them just below the triple tree. The upper part of the forks are a smaller diameter, but the lower part is fine. They work fine for me. I have thought about maybe trying to wrap some rubber strips around the upper forks and see if that made any kind of a difference.
