After checking all round for a new battery, I had to order one from NAPA.While waiting, I tried charging the battery again, and for some reason it immediately accepted a 4 amp charge, whereas before it was only taking about 1,and after 3 hours it registered 12.6v. Put it back in the bike which fired right up.
I guess I'll get a new one anyway, as it probably is 5 years old.
Annoyingly, after ordering from NAPA i walked around WAlMart and they had 4 of the suckers for less money. Funny, I never think of WalMart when I need bike stuff. AND they were $6 cheaper! But its a small town, and I need NAPA, so wuill be honoring my order there.
