Sorry for the repeat but I know I've seen someone with a helmet lock on here. I remeber it clamping to the bar that runs underneath the seat. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Check out NewBonneville.com or Bellacorse, I think they still carry them.
I just use a small padlock and attach this to the metal rings on my helmet and to some spokes or a cable on my bike.

If you have a full face helmet, get a short cable with eyes on each end and use a padlock. Run the cable through the eye opening. Many helmets are ripped off by cutting the chin strap. Thieves then just buy a replacement chin strap. I have heard some dealers will not replace chin straps if you can't produce the old one uncut.
