First off, I know TOR's are not extremely loud or obnoxoius but they do say "for offroad use only"

....I was wondering if anyone has taken the driving portion of their motorcycle licensing test with TOR's in place?

I don't know how picky they are down by you, I took my driving test on a XR350R that had an aftermarket Cobra can on it with no problems, but then again the tester wasn't very picky I think there was also a Harley with loud aftermarket pipes on it at the same time. The reason TORs are labeled "Off-Road use only" is because they are above the 80 or 87 dlbs that is the max per DOT regs for current production machines. I don't think I've know anyone that was given a hard time about aftermarket pipes, I think they generally just look to see you have a current plate and inspection sticker.

With all the HD product with open pipes around here, it shouldn't be an issue. I do wish Triumph made the label a little less huge. Take the ABATE classes offered and just take the paper work in for your license.

Thanks for the information guys. I may just try to go in and take the test then drop her off at the shop to get the TOR's put on.
