Mobil 1 t synthetic racing oil, Belray chain wax. at first glance, the oil seems expensive, 45 to 50 bucks for the 1 gallon container needed. But it is specced for the bike and only gets changed out every 6000 miles, so I find it a good value

Oh boy another oil thread...
Mobile One V-Twin 20-50
Chain lube. Used to use PJ1. Seemed to sling to much off.
Just switched to Chain Wax by maxima racing oils. Made the change based on recommendation of a friend that has been using it on his Sprint. Seems to stick really well. Do apply to warm chain.
If you have a Cycle Gear store close by sign up for a catalog, newsletter whatever. If you get the catalog mailed direct it usually has discount coupons for whatever. Can save a few $$ on oil that way.

Mobile 1 V twin 20-50. I changed to Chain Wax because it does not seem to build up on the chain and attract dirt. I was using BelRay and while it does not fling off, it seemed to just build up on the chain.

Silkolene Pro 4 15w-50 full synthetic race oil, the chain gets PJ1 blue, but I have a bunch of different half empty cans of chain lube sitting around so its a bit of pot luck.

Oil: Full syn 20w-50 for 3 season riding in the Northeast - You being south may want to go a bit heavier. Can't remember the brand but as long as it meets the spex, I don't really care.
Chain: Maxima Chain Wax - zero fling (not like that Castrol krap) and I find I like the smell. No kidding.
You didn't ask but....
Oil filter is KN-191 which is great because it has a hex nut on top for install / removal without an oil filter wrench. Not so great that it doesn't come with the 14mm crush washer but you can get this anywhere for a buck or less.
After futzing around different shops to get the oil, filter (special order) and crush washer, I've decided that I'm better off just ordering the whole oil change kit from Brent at newbonneville.com like I did last year. Would have saved a few bucks as well.
Who says you can do better locally???? Not me.
