Mine did that just once, on a cold day about a month ago, and never did it again. It was cold and I had run it up to about 80 while redlining through the gears. When I checked the speed the needle was bouncing. I slowed down and it smoothed out but, when I went back up to about 70, it started to bounce again. I slowed down again and then it stayed smooth ever since.  :
