I really love the classic look of my Bonneville, but I've got to admit you do get a lot of wind in your chest and head at higher speeds. Do the fly screens on newbonneville help at all? I'm reluctant to put on a full sized windscreen.

Any opinions?

A couple pages back there's a thorough discussion of the fly screen options available - dig back for that. I like my Dart fly screen.

I have a Triumph Fly Screen, and it takes the wind
of your chest above 50 mph, also keeps the bugs
off your Tac. & Spdo, my arms are more relaxed now
at high speed.

My Triumph flyscreen seems to throw the wind off the chest to my head or above, but I'm 5'6".

You can use a National Cycle Quick Detach deflector that doesn't llok bad on and comes off in a couple of seconds. Cost around $80.00.

The Dart was my first mod. I don't know if it is psychological or not, but I am a heck of alot more comfortable on the freeway.

My Triumph fly screen seemed to make a big difference in the amount of wind I was taking to the chest area...I'm 6'0. I really like mine.

The Dart Flyscreen really comes through at highway speeds. Much more relaxed riding. Can't say it would work as well, without a full face helmet.
