Washing the Bonnie today for my first ride f the season. I was going over the tail light wih a soapy rag and SNAP the break light broke right off! ***!!! SUper Glued it back together but has anybody else had this issue with the plasticky bits?

Never had a problem myself but I'd advise you to ask the dealer, maybe it was defective and the warranty will cover it.

790cc 2003 T100 Bonneville. 18T Front Sprocket, AI Removed, 125 Mains, 40 Pilots, Thruxton Needles, 1 Shim,3mm Air Hole, Mixture screws 3 1/4 turns out left carb, 3 turns out right carb, Unifilter, NH Belmouth, NH Classic Togas with no mutes inserted, Stock Ignitor Unit. Hagon 320mm rear shocks & progressive fork springs. Last measured. 61.60 hp, , Max torque 48.40 in 5th gear at the rear wheel at 7200 rpm, 105 mph in 5th at 6500 rpm.

Wow, you must have really given it a good seeing to! I have just had a look at mine and it is pretty well attached. I agree, maybe it's a warranty claim.

Sounds like a good excuse to replace it with a Lucas style tail light!.............let the Mods begin!!!! :-D

I bought mine used and it was cracked when I bought it from the seller strapping a pack to the sissy bar and resting the pack on top of it. I used JB Weld on the inside and seems to be good as new and not noticeable. I had no warranty though.

My buddy laid his jacket on the bach of the Bonne after a ride & pop the tailight lense broke off. He superglued it back but will play hell when the bulb buerns out? A rweally cheaply made part to a great bike!!

They are VERY fragile..... likely because of a small narrow base and a HUGE pod that usually hits (and breaks) easily in a get off.

That is to say, they break easily and often.

I replaced mine straight away with a Lucas. Was quite surprised at how little material there is in the stock housing.

This is a good time to trade out.

I will sell you my stock light setup if you want to stay stock, it has 1000 miles on it. I need to clean out the garage of all this stuff.
