Anyone know how big of a difference there is between the superbars and drag bars? Which has more pullback? Which one does not require you to lean as far forward? Which bars do you guys prefer?

Not 100% sure, but I believe the Superbars have more pull back. You should be able to find pics of them on the various parts & accessories sites (NB, Bella, etc.) For me the Superbars feel "neutral" - not leaning back, not leaning forward, in the pocket.

I'm curious about the dragbars, also. The SuperBars are really pretty good, but I sometimes wish that I had something lower. The M-Bars are too far forward for me, so the dragbars seem like a good solution. However, I'm concerned that they will interfere with the tank at full lock.

I have a set of drag bars I was gonna try but from what I can tell they will cause the controls to hit the tank unless I use a riser which I am not too keen on but would want to try to see how it really works out. I know some folks have gone that route, cannot remember who, fatratt maybe??? Hopefully those who have gom\ne there before us will chiime in with their knowledge.

I am currently running bars I sourced from scootworks.net which seem to be like the M bar. I am pretty happy with them after running them for better than 6 months. The model I scored was the 400213 superbar. I had bought the official Superbars from NB but regardless of how I positioned the bars my throttle bound up unless I moved them to the right off the end of the bar by about 3/16". I gave them to a friend that is running them now, he too has to run them slightly off the end. Everyone else had no problems so I assume this bar was bend slightly off. ....I am rambling.....sorry

Drag bars with risers create the perfect sweet spot for me at 5'7" with a 29" inseam......I can cruise at 80 and take one hand off the bars to scratch my butt or whatever with no struggle with the wind blast...They are not so low that it is a struggle with wrist and back stress like clip-ons give me...They also "narrow" the bike which helps with lane splitting a lot....Robert

I have a T-100 and tried to mount the Drag Bars, but they won't fit due to the Tachometer. They will work on a standard Bonneville, however.

The drag bars are for sale if anyone wants them...never used of course. :thump:

I put the drag bars from newbonneville.com onto my 07 black, there is some tank interference. to the right will hit the starter switch, the left doesn't hit anything but the switch housing. i've gotten use to it and just use my thumb in the tank to stop from hitting the starter. The ride is nice on the highway I did a three hour ride from deals gap in nc to columbia sc and didn't have a problem with the bar positioning. It allows you to ride upright & relaxed or hunker down and move out.

I have never used Drag Bars, but I have the superbars on mine and I have never ridden with such comfortable bars. I think everything depends on your build. I'm 5'7 with a 30' inside leg and the superbars are the perfect compromise for me, but bigger or smaller people may need a different riding angle.

But for me, the superbars are the best looking bars out there for the bonnie. These are mine:
