This is my first post and I really like this forum. I just passed the MSF course last weekend and after reading about the Bonnie and visiting websites and this forum, I want one! I have a Honda Rebel 250 but would really like something more substantial so off I go this weekend to Engle Motors here in K.C. to take a test drive.

Thanks for all the great advice that can be found here.

Good luck and hope you get one!

I had a Bonnie Black and loved it. Very classic styling, I had a Honda Rebel 450 in 1986 and it was a great bike but once I got Triumph's in my blood that's been it.

+1 to that!

I just picked mine up last week and I can't stop looking at it. I hate to leave it behind in the parking lot when I go to work in the morning.

Furthermore, there were two days that I rode the bike to work that I went off to lunch (on the bike) and never came back to work ('til the next day, of course).

I was better today. After all, I have to pay for it somehow.

GOOD CHOICE!! I keep mine in a garage 1/2 mi from home cause I live in a condo w/ no garage. There fore I keep a fresh picture of her on the coffee table to refresh my memory when I need a fix! 1st bike - now last. Wont ever be another bike like it again. I think the aircooled engine is gonna be gone soon (US govt regs) like the VW & Porsche. Got one- hold on - will be a real classic once more soon!

Beagldog,

Last week Engle had a nice Bonnie Black on the floor. Several options, including the red daisy tank cover and red side covers. Actually, they had just put shorter Hagons on it and dropped the fork trees a bit.

I'm sure they have another in storage if you want . Hope you are successful in your purchase. You will like the bike.
