Hello all,

After months of lurking I purchased a new T100 a few months back. I am looking to get out and actually enjoy riding the bike with others, but I haven't seen or read of any others in the immediate vicinity. In fact, I have yet to see another Triumph on the road yet.

Am I all alone up here?

I love the bike, even if I do only have 39 miles on it. Thanks for all the great advice and ideas on spending even more money.

Just got mine a month or so ago as well. I know I'll stop soon at the RAT meeting in Addison and meet the boys. I camp in Wis. every weekend however, and may leave the bike up there since the rides are so much less hectic for an oldster like me.
...Welcome Ben, ...Billy

p.s. Panthermark is out by Plainfield if you're heading that way.

I'm in Chicagoland, but I've spotted only a Bonnie Black and a Thruxton within the city limits. My schedule doesn't permit too much tooling around though, but I manage to find excuses to go to the liquor store or run up to the Cigar King in Skokie now and then.

Hello Chicagoans and welcome to the forum Ben74!!

I've been off the forum for a couple of months but I am back. Captain - the bonnie black you spotted might have been mine, although I have seen one other downtown. I've also seen an opal & tang bonnie a while back. Maybe I will run into you at Cigar King one of these days.

I haven't joined up with the local RAT, but I would be up for a ride after May 20th or so. Also, you guys might be interested in "Mods v. Rockers 2007" - see flyer below. Lots of cool bike and cheap beer!

Congrats on the new bike...

I live in Oak Park and ride an '06 Scrambler. I ride regularly with the local Triumph Rats, and they're a great group that's ALWAYS looking for new riders to participate in the rides.

Our first ride of the spring is scheduled for this Sunday, April 22nd. All Chicago-area Triumphers on the forum are welcome to ride with us---just meet up at the Triumph dealer, MCC, on St Charles Rd. just west of Addison at 10am.

Hope to see you there!

If you saw a Tang and Opal Bonnie at last years Mods vs Rockers, that was me. I'll be there again this year.

I didn't know about the RAT ride this weekend, if it does not rain....I might be there.

I was at M v R last year, and it was really hot that day (around 95 degrees).

We'll have to arrange a time for a RATs 'meet up' at this year's M v R.

Not a flatlander but close enough to Illinois. I am up in Wisconsin in the bluff area between Madison and Wisconsin Dells. Beautiful area to ride in and if you ever want to venture this way to do some exploring I have plenty of room. As soon as the weather stays consistant I was thinking about trying to get a group together for a ride and dine weekend- there is a great winery just 2 miles down the road that has open tasting sessions (bikes can be parked and use my truck for transport if Tasting)

Ben:

I have a silver 2006 Bonnie and you'll see me during the week in Chicago and weekends in the North Shore area. There's a creamsickle T100 somewhere in Andersonville (he requents the Hopleaf), near me, and I've seen a green Bonnie around as well.

We're around. I'll be looking for you.
