LIsa,
Great timing on your pics. I brought my side stand to work today to bend it and was just going to make a blind stab at it. It doesn't look like much of a bend at all. Nice looking bike. I also practiced putting it back on and those two springs are very stiff, stiffer than the two on my center stand. I found it easier to hook up the springs first then use the stand itself to stretch the springs. Not too bad to do, but I also have a center stand to hold it up.

I have an old motorcycle dealership about 10 miles from the house, he had bought a lot of sissy bars from the 70's at a parts swap, and I just had to have this Peace Sign!!!!
He charged me 50.00 for it, but well worth it from the comments I recieve.
Lox, the bend wasn't much, the problem we had is that the foot doesn't sit completely on the ground, but it is very stable, just don't know what it would do if I parked in soft dirt.

Here is a pic that I tried to show the lean on the bike with the stand adjusted.

Here a few quick shots.

Side
Lowered about 1". The amount of lean can really vary depending on the ground and surface you're on. This shows about the same angle as in the level garage floor, just better lighting outside.

They're Cortech Sport Bags. I've seen them on line at several places, but got mine through my local dealer, for the same price. They are very easy to put on and take off. Just throw them over the seat and 4 straps to hold them down, and they can be taken off and carried like luggage. I'm using them right now without rails and they seem to be ok. IMHO much better looking then the Triumph bags.
