Just looking for some clarification...

Can the seat cowl be used on the factory seat?

Or just with the contemporary seat? Thanks.

The seat cowl can only be used with the seats that have the metal "buttons"or inserts on each side of the seat.

I'm a little confused. I see two Triumph seats available listed as single seats. One is truely a single seat with a rack and the other is more like a Thruxton seat.

Which is the most comfortable? The one with a rack looks a little funny, but the rack would be useful. I never ride two-up.

Thanks for any input,
'
Richard.

The one I have, the so-called Triumph Solo Seat, is the one without the rack. The one with the rack came out last year. Can't speak to the comfort of the one with the rack, but the solo seat that I have is a real improvement over the OEM brick.

Thumbs up Solo seat for Bonnie

I must have had the old version of the Thruxton solo seat I purchased from British Customs last year. It was awful uncomfortable. I did not keep it long. I am now looking for a comfortable solo seat for the Bonnie. Looks like people like the solo seat for the Scrambler.

solo seat with rack

Hi. I have the solo seat with rack and I can tell you that it is very comfortable compared to stock.

I am currently using it without the rack. It gives the bike a nice sort of bobber look.

You can see some pics in the photo thread of the Bonneville.

This sixty eight seat is straight out of the Triumph accessories book and I find it much more comfortable than the stock seat. It has the Triumph logo embossed in the back. When the cowl is installed correctly it hides the pillion completely. In this picture it was not installed correctly. My grandsons grandfather screwed it up!

madss definitely has the best price on Sity8 accessories. Even though their prices just went up they're still cheaper.
