Just showin off again. I put in a home-fabricated airbox elimination kit and now it really flies! This weekend I shortened the stock turn indicators and took off the decals on the side covers.

Mods:

Shortened blinkers
Blanked side covers
Stock bar end mirror mod
Painted seat logo (silver elmer's paint pen)
Fork gaiters
Pedestrian slicer/custom numbers (Italian license plate font)
Chrome cam cover and chain guard
Progressive front springs
M bars
Alaska leather seat pad w/ custom foam
Emgo shorty reverse cones
Homemade airbox elimination
145 & 42 jets (stock needles/no shims yet)
K&N pods

Let me know what you think...

Cool, good classic looks. Any chance you may have more pics with the mustang in the pic too?

Whoa! Very crisp looking machine. Are the bar end mirrors modified as done by Keefer in the Mods Forum? The look great.

Yeah the stock mirror mod is one of my favorites because it's so cheap and it looks so good. I need to look at the hardware he used because the only bolt I could find for the mirrors is ugly- I have this big hex head bolt holding them on. Yeah I've gone through a lot of bikes in the last 4 years, and this is the ONE. I'm glad I finally found a bike I don't feel bad about pouring money into.
