Just bought my new bonnie, customed out by the last owner.. The bars are very close to the rider. I'm wondering if the bonnie is just not setup for this type of handlebars in conjunction with the footpeg placement. Are the shorter bars more conducive to a comfortable ride? It just doesn't feel right.

The previous owner of this bike was an older woman (The reason I know is that her husband is a great customer and dear friend). You'll probably want to change out the bars right off the bat if you're tall.

Those aren`t stock bars, thats for sure.Everybody has different criteria for bar comfort. I use stock, but turned down bars and suffer no arm/wrist issues. [probably from a lifetime of "self abuse"] :-D

Here are the bars that I had on my Honda.. I liked the feel, however I was just used to it.. Are these very similar to the bonnie stock bars? I'm about 5'10" and 160 lbs. Any other good ideas for comfort/agile friendly bar setup? Funny you know the woman who owned the bike. I actually ran into them when I bought it from the bike shop they sold it to. They are GREAT people, and he was so kind and full of pride about the work they did to the bike. I've been chatting with a nice guy from the forums about super bars or the stock bars I may get from him.

I went with the M bars and ditched my stocks. It's like going from a Saturn to a Corvette. Don't you dare think about changing those pipes back to stock.
