Does anyone know where I could get a cheap, good condition bonneville seat for a 06 bonnie black? I got a used one with a custom made corbin, but it was made to fit a womans behind, and it's a bit small. Any other suggestions for a cool, comfortable, sleek seat that is functional and could possibly fit a passenger?

Thanks!

Jeff

Keep your eyes on the classified section here. I have been able to pick up several "like new" items at good prices. Also try Ebay. I see standard seats advertised quite often after someone buys a custom seat. It won't take too long.

Cheap means used, as there are no cheap seats available for the Bonnie. Least expensive that I know of is the Triumph solo, listed at MADSS for $227, MSRP $270

Cool, comfortable, sleek--that's possible, as in the solo mentioned above. There are other solo seats listed at NewBonnieville and Bellacorse, but so few have them that little consensus exists as far as comfort.

Cool, comfortable, sleek, and a passenger--well if you can leave out the cool and sleek part, the best seems to be the Triumph King and Queen, but sleek it ain't. You might think about the Triumph Sixty8 Contemporary seat, since it is essentially a bench seat, with room for a passenger, but by adding a cowl, which it is designed to accept, the cool and sleek factor goes up considerably. The Contemporary is also available at MADSS for significantly less than you would pay at most dealers.

Post a picture of the seat you have, maybe one of us girls around here might swap seats with you.

Or you could sell it to fund a new one.

I've posted interest in buying stock seats in several threads here on crappy stock seats. Not had a single response.

I read in a thread here that there are stock Bonnie seats on ebay for a good price. I don't like dealing with ebay so haven't checked.

Thanks for the info.. Here is the seat. It's a Corbin smuggler with black crocodile skin. It looks SOOOOOOO cool, but it just doesn't fit my big butt too well.. It would be perfect for a lady rider or a small framed man. The seat apparently was over $500 new, and it's in like new condition still. I would like to sell it.. Make me an offer!

Jeff

Thats a great looking seat. It appears to be a "close" model, which moves the hump forward about an inch and a half and has a bit thinner foam under the thighs for an easy reach to the ground. It is probably perfect for riders under 5'9 or 5'10 max.And its the Smuggler to boot.
