Hey does anyone know of a poll that might have been done on this site about which mufflers are most popular. I really want to upgrade from stock but am undecided which ones to try.

Don't want them too loud and would like to get them in Australia if anyone knows of a good set.

TORS are good and not too loud.

D&D's are great and very loud.

I have the Bubs and love them (except maybe for the bubbling chrome on one of the headers) but they are loud, maybe louder than the D&D's.

The predators are way popular but I hav enot personally riden with anyone sporting them.

Try either Staintunes or Madaz pipes, both made in Australia, top quality and they fit your sound requirements also. They are roughly the same price from memory.

I've had Predators and Bubs. They sound very similar but the Bubs are a little meaner and more crisp, and much much louder. I like the Bubs.

Another for the Staintunes heaps of people tell me how good mine sounds.
I have the teardrops on my 790 a mate with a '06 T100 (865) has the Staintune reverse cones they sound good as well. Different to mine but still nice.
The note has changed on mine after advancing the exhaust cam it no sound more like my mates T100.

ive got the reverse cone staintunes and like alot - although i havent heard any others to compare. was selfconscious of the noise early on, but now seems natural.

dealer at nerang does them cheaper than the bris dealers ($1000 v about $1400 in bris fitted with jetting)

only minor (very minor) regret, maybe, is that i prefer a more classic looking bonnie rather than the sporty/cafe, where a tear drop seems to suit more than the reverse cones. but thats getting very particular, probably on account of having picked up the 'particular' bug from spending a ridiculous amount of time on this forum at all hours.

hear them on sun. if your on for the ride to kilcoy
