+1 from another old man. I've heard many of the others and the Togas come the closest in looks and sound to back in "the day".

I have the BC Predators and really like them for many reasons. The look is great and I love the sound.

I have BC Predators like them alot. had tors on before the predators .I think bike is alot faster now and sounds alot better. I think if you look on bc web page that 12 to 16 hp+ is with air box removed and carb jet work.

road dog, I think it was either on their website or in their catalog that came with the pipes. I didn't mean anything directed at you about the power, just a remark on the continuing battle of the exhausts.

Having heard the Thunderbike (NZ) pipes on a Scrambler and Speedy ,I gotta say they sound great.A reverse cone design makes the most HP ;I think the Toga-type(classic,retro)look best and also sound great.Lots of choices ....

I heard my new old ride last weekend with D&D's and wish i'd ditched the TORO's I'd had on my last ride upon delivery. They ARE loud...but going light on the wrist will be enough to make the neighbors happy. man I love these bikes.

I don't think ANY pipes and/or airbox elim kit will net any more than 5-8 rear wheel hp over stock (stock meaning hp at the wheel, which is in the low 50s, yes low 50s).

These aftermarket guys are very optimistic. VERY.

A bonnie with stock internals and every aftermarkey bolt-on gizmo you can think of (airbox, exhaust, pro-com, etc) with the exception of carbs will at most match the stock claimed hp output (around 60-65) at the wheel. AT MOST!

Did I say at most? Yes I did.

There are guys with the 904cc kits running less than 70 hp, with modified airboxes, and pipes.

I'm a sucker for the megaphones. Speciifcally Dunstalls. I had a set of wide mouths that I loved but I hated the headers so now I have the Raask setup whick is smilar. Headers are much nicer and fit without fiddling. Togas are nice too.
