Maybe there's a Metzler factory in Thailand.

Kliff,I don`t run them and haven`t bought any tires here, but DennisKirk will beat anybody`s price including shipping and handling by a buck. Now,I did get my Avons from Southwest Mototire and got excellent prices and shipping. :???:

Thanks Rod and Tom.....
AMT does have some good pricing....probably be going with them. The OEM BS rear only looks to have about 2K or less left.....just planning ahead.
Lasertec front/ME880 rear.

Why the lasertech front rather than the 880? I got 27k miles with no cupping out of mine. I'm sold on the 880's for the Bonnie... Good grip, great in the wet and the best mileage I've found...

I've run the 880's front and rear on Road kings and Valkyries, and the Lasertec/880 combo on Softtail and Dynas.

Granted the all 880 bikes give excellent wet or dry traction, I just always felt a little more secure in the rain with the Lasertec fronts. Thought I'd try the combo again.

Apologies for asking the silly questions on this forum BUT I am in the market for tires; I'd like to know what sizes people are running with on the stock rims? I believe I cannot go any larger than 140/80/17 using the Metzler 880 rear, correct?

How wide can I go with stock rims?

Thanks in advance.

Hey Nick; I am pretty darn sure you can run 150's in the rear, but to be sure give Cascade Moto Classics a call out in Beaverton. They know there stuff.
