Before you hear it it from someone else I thought I should come clean to my Twin Talk homies. I've been cheating on you all with another forum.
After two monogamous years of being in love with my '03 Speedmaster, I seem to have entered into an illict affair with a '06 Speed Triple.
After three months of serious flirting, I went down to the dealer yesterday and bought a new, georgeous Fusion White S3. I pick it up in a few days.
I don't see a divorce from my Speedmaster anytime soon, but now the guys on the Speed Triple forum are telling me I'm gonna need to buy a dust cover, a bottle of Stabil and a battery charger for my Speedmaster. Am I doomed to fall in love with a younger woman? How long can I live this double life?

CT, I saw this coming. But don't feel bad, it's still a Triumph and a darn nice one. You may need to keep the Speedmaster for 2-up riding though. Let us know how it works out.
Good luck and see you around campus.

Thanks, Kevin.
Definitely need the Speedmaster for two up. I don't think the Mrs. would climb on the back of the Triple for 3 hours! Plus I spent too much on my saddlebacks and farkles to sell the speedy just yet.
Guess I'm a two Triumph man.

Only 3 more days to go and I can pick up my new Trip and the wait is killing me!!!!
But that's not as much torture as the miserable rainy weather forecast for this weekend!!!! UGH!!! It's gonna be worse torture to have the bike sitting in the garage if it's raining on Saturday & Sunday!!!

Unlike your Significant Other, the Speedy isn't going to mind being in a bigamous relationship. One of the beautiful things about motorcycles.
Just wish I could afford a Trip to go with my Sprint and my wife's Speedy. We could then have a three way. lol
Don't let that Trip talk you into doing bad, illicit things.

You will quickly learn not to take everything those drama queens say as gospel. NinjaRAT has it right!
I can speak from experience that the Speed Triple and any member of the vertical twin family will get along very nicely in a garage... even if you also have, just for instance, a Tiger and a Rocket in there too. (No, I don't have the Rocket any more, but all four of them were certainly very happy together when I did. Hardly any jealousy or rivalry at all, and certainly not between Speedy and Bonnie. Different tools for different kinds of riding.)
This very afternoon, in fact, I rode the Triple over to my dealer, a hundred miles away, for its annual service--and rode Bonnie back home, as its service has been completed. Selected routes for each leg of the trip that took advantage of each bike's best traits.
A good time was had by all !

I ride a 03 America and a 05 Speed Triple. Both are blue and both are beautiful. You will have no problem appreciating both marvelous bikes.
Use the triple to release your pent up aggression.
Use the Speedmaster for week long trips.
