It has occurred to me that when I install the new pipes on this Bonnieville (T100) that the old gasket on each cylinder head port will not be re-useable. Is the specific gasket required or can an equally suitable, lasting and reliable seal be achieved using one of the High Temp (intermittent max 350-370 degree C/ 650-700 deg F) RTV Silicone Gasket Makers?
Id like to get the work done tomorrow, Sunday and my only Triumph dealer is closed Sunday and Monday.
If the Silicone Gasket Maker CAN be used is there a preference: Like a Permatex Red/flexible, Ultra Copper for instance?
Thanks!

Welcome. The exhaust gaskets are not something the dealer would stock.Mine didn`t. I re used the original copper gasket with a smear of Permatex UltraCopper and have had no problems getting a good gas tight seal despite taking the pipes off and on repeatedly, while building a couple exhaust systems this winter.Order new replacements, but use the old ones until they arrive or until you NEED to replace them.

My dealer (Cal Triumph in Mountain View) stocks these. In fact, the ones they have are better than the originals coz they have little tabs to hold em in place.

A suitable gasket might be sourced from another bike or even, like, a plumbing supply store or something...
