I have an 06 speed master and while I love the bike my wife hates the passenger seat. I was wondering what others think would be the best seat to get. We are getting ready to take a week long trip and the last thing I want to hear is her whining at me about her butt hurting.

Any ideas?

I looked at the SM setup, and this was one of the reasons I decided to go with the Ameria... Much more comfortable for 2 up. head over to your local dealer and check out the seats on the new America. Add on a Low sissy bar and rack and you're set. If she still complains, get her a bike of her own and yourself a comfy gunslinger!

Enjoy the trip, take lotsa pics and report back

Get the Triumph Touring seat and sissy bar/rack combo.
Add a sheepskin butt pad if needed. Have fun!

I bought the Triumph OEM solo seat and passenger pillion. The passenger pillion is a little larger and more cushioned than the stock America seat. I added the short sissy bar and rack to the back and it came out real nice. my wife didn't really complain about the speedmaster gunfighter seat but it made me nervous always thinking she might slide off. check out my photo album for pics.

I already have the high back sissy bar and rack. I am going to order the touring seat on Friday and hope she likes it. Thanks for your input.

I had the america seat and pillion on my speedmaster. THe wife liked it better than the stock gunfighter seat. Same comment about her feeling like she'd fall off the stock seat.
