Nothing beats the Brits when it comes to "roundabouts". You gotta love them!

I think most drivers close their eyes when they hit that one - I used to! Best avoided at all costs!

I've been there & it was not nice, but I've also driven a hire car back to the airport in Las Vegas- six lanes, steering wheel on the wrong side etc!

One more reason to avoid Swindon.

Especially with heavy traffic! I hear they are putting these in in Washington DC to help traffic flow.

It looks better from the air than ground level! Always hit this thing with a different strategy and end up straight lining the whole thing. Seems to work in a wierd Swindon sort of way. It's one of the few cities I've been to where I always get to where I'm going but rarely the same way twice. Its right up there with Milton Keynes as far as roundabouts are concerned.

Lawyers must not be in great supply in that town. Otherwise they'd make sure that pinwheel traffic circle was removed after some hefty personal injury lawsuits.

All's' I know about Swindon is that in "The Office" they didn't like David Brent's style one bit. The "Swindon Lot" he called them :-D
