Bonneville Black, less than two weeks old. Paint peeling from around the triple clamp (?) where the front forks attach to the steering. Black paint is peeling/bubbling from around the nut. I guess I am covered by waranty, but the dealer is in a different State and the hassle of having to go back to them is probably not worth it. I have 'scrapped' off what I can, so I'll go to a bodyworks to see if they can paint it without taking everything apart.
Maybe some brake fluid was spilt on the spot and this has caused a reaction? Has anyone else experienced this?

Still think the bike is***** hot. Done 451 k's in two days driving around the block! The neighbours must think I am having an early mid-life crisis.

I sent a pic of the peel to the dealer. Three hours later I was in the pub and the head of Triumph Warranty Division Australia phoned me on ymy mobile. He said to take it to my nearest dealer and they will fix it even if it means replacing the whole triple tree.

Now that's service my friends. Thank you Mr Triumph. There is a living God and I am sure he rides a Bonne Black with Fork Gators, dual tacho ad TORs. Peace Bros.
