just bought a 72 bonneville ran fine when i bought it..got home an it wont start..no spark at plugs or points..battery is charged an bike is basicaly stock..i just know this is lucas related!!! i think its the relay or whatever the part is thats hooked to the coils...all other electrics like headlight and horn are working...if anyone has any ideas or knows the name of this part let me know..thanks

If it's not been run for a while the oil wick lubricating the contact breaker cam may have dried out. If this is the case, then the cam-follower heal will wear out, closing the points and stopping the beast.

Fit a Boyer kit if this is so.
