In an earlier post, someone mentioned that they used a copper specific gasket seal to put on the exhaust gasket when reattaching their header pipes.

I tried to find this and have been unable to locate it so far.

Does anyone know the name of the product or where they have found it?

Thanks

The copper seals get hard after repeated heating and slow cooling. I have heard that you can heat the copper ring seals with a torch, don't melt them, just get them very hot and quench them in cold water. This will soften the copper back up and help them reseal better. Haven't tried it yet but will, along with using the Permatex UltraCopper #101BR Rod mentioned.
