I'm considering lowering my '03 Bonnie for my wife - we'll need to lower the seat height for her by about 2". I can probably get an inch or so from a custom seat, and looks like I could get an inch or so by slipping the forks up in the triple clamps. I presume I could get custom shocks to lower the rear. Any advice/suggestions on who to go to for the shocks? If I go for 2" shorter shocks, will I need to increase spring rate to make sure she doesn't bottom out? Any other advice on the process?
