Just wanted to let y'all know I got my Thruxton gel seat today. I thought $112 was too good to be true, but it's here and it looks good. I can't tell if there's Gel inside though because I have nothing to compare it to, but judging by feel I'd have to say NO.

Hey that's great about the shipment. I'm still waiting but your delivery gives me some hope.

You could look at the Triumph site and see what it says about the same seat.

My $135 centerstand came the other day also... I sent them an e-mail asking what the story was - because I hadn't heard anything for a month.

I got a very polite reply, and the centerstand showed up about four days later.

I'm sure it has gel inside, but the whole seat isn't gel. As another member said, just a thin piece on top of the seat. Sort of like the gel they sell for shoes, I guess. I don't believe Triumph would risk a lawsuit for something easily proven. :roll:

Ditto on order...my gel seat showed up yesterday!

Great deal a bit long on delivery...but who really cares it was 7 degrees this morning so no riding any time soon!

They also included a nice "sorry we are late" letter and a 20% off coupon good till month end.
