I rode my scrambler for 138 miles, in one full tank of gas, not including the reserve. Is this about typical for this bikes?

On the good side, I'd say. I've heard of everything from 110 to 150 so 138 is right in there

That's about what I got stock, up to recently I got about 80-100 miles before hitting reserve, with airbox elim and predators, and gearing down to a 17t front sprocket (18t stock on T100).

That's about right.....
-- IF --
you haven't done any performance mod's.

I hafta switch it to reserve anywhere from 96 to 114 miles:
Intake, jetting, Thruxton needles, cans, and an outa control throttle hand.

However, I somehow stumbled onto (close to) ideal jetting on my last Bonnie. When I did, my gas mileage suddenly increased for the better..... and that was with LARGER main jets! That said, I have given thought recently to going up from my current main jets. Problem is, I kinda forgot what I have in there now, 122.5's I think..... because the local Honda shop didn't have any 125's.

I've NEVER managed to get that many MPGs... that's GREAT mileage!
That's just about the furtherest I've ever gone, including my reserve. :hammer:

f650 - sounds like she's running well - I went for 145.4 miles (234km) on main tank, then a further 49 km (= 30.4 miles) on reserve, to get 283km (=175.84 miles) out of a full tank (16.5 litres).
So it's good to know that when you go on reserve you ought to get another 30 miles or so...
