hi everyone
which is the best way to get the filter oil off
1, factory holder , fits over the end of filter
2 chain oil filter wrench with handle .
3 chain oil filter wrench with socket drive.
4 strap wrench.
5 claw 3 leg type.
last filter on a buell i done it ended in a mess , all chewed up with the chain one , ended up with a hole in it with a screwdriver though to twist round and still had a problem getting it off. no oil on the seal from the factory ,emmmm . :hammer:

With only 10nm of torque, it won't take much effort.

I use an endcap that has a socket for my torque wrench to remove and install the filter. Never had a problem with it.
