Anybody discover the best way to remove that annoying little sticker on the tank without damaging the finish? I promise I'll remember to wear my helmet and refer to he owners manual everytime I fill up.

Heated it with a hair dryer, lifted a corner with my finger nail. slowly peeled it off, cleaned with WD40, then applied wax. Piece o' cake.

Or just peel it off. It didn't harm my finish at all.

Ah, thanks much everyone- all good suggestions. I tried to peel it and mine did not come off in one piece, leaving sticky bits. I wanted to inquire before I used my goof-off. I like the hairdryer idea.
So I guess the govenrment won't come after me for removing it like they did when I clipped off that tag on the mattress.... :-D
