Hey all,

Does anyone have a picture of their ride with either the Tour Master Nylon Slant saddle bags or the Willie & Max Rapture Slant bags? I have narrowed it down to either one of these bags...size still to be determined. I would like to see how they look, so I am asking all that have any size of either of these bags to please post or send me a PM pic. Thanks so much!
I'm thinking the Rapture with the RED inlay would look really good with my paint scheme.

Opinions? Remarks? Anything?

Andy :???:

I purchased the saddlman and feel the W & M look better, imho. Both do look nice but if I had to do it over again I would have gotten the W & M bags over the saddlman.

I have used my Saddlman bags a year and 11k and so far they are showing a little wear around the fastners. Mine are sitting on rails so I wonder how they would hold up wihtout the additional support??? Bottom line, if you get the saddlmean make sure you purchase the rails (I image the same would be true for all throwover bags...?...)

I don't know...in my opinion, and this is just my opinion, I am not a fan of throw over saddlebags. You cover up and hide too many good features of the bike. And when that leather gets old and dried out, it just looks nasty. I like the bolt ons. Mine are some generic things I picked up at Mid Ohio, made my own hangers and bolted them on. I like them. Haven't had any problems yet and they have been on for about 9 months and maybe 8000 miles.

You should be able to see them in my pics below, or to the side.... :???:

i bought the saddleman bags and quick brackets on wednesday. my daughter bought me a tank bag for my birthday. they should work ok and the bags have a smooth finish with no extras.. i didn't like the idea of the brackets even though they were cheaper and would do the job. :-D

I agree about using brackets for your bag but I think you can do that with any bag if I'm not mistaken even W&M. Your bike does look nice! I might take a look at your bags because I'm about ready to replace my Saddlemans that are falling apart.
