Hi! Gang, been awhile since I posted, being retired keeps you busy. Anyway has anyone tried the Sceptre Exhaust? I am looking for performance but not really interested in noise. I understand Brent now sells this system. Also, I noticed a baffle system for the exhaust do you need to buy this also making the cost around $700.00? My way of thinking kinda pricey for noise. Does it also add HP? :???:

The Sceptre pipes are very loud, very nice quality and finish as well, I have not heard the pipes with the baffle so can't comment on that. Brent also sells Staintune which are also SS and of the highest quality, also the Staintunes come with a baffle that you can take out very easily or leave in, they are also much quiter and sound a lot better, at least to my ears. The Staintunes add about 8.5/9 hp, not sure about the Secptre. Staintune suggests that you re jet to 135's and pull the snorkel and that seems to give the best results. They are also pricy but will last as long as you have the bike..don't think you will go wrong with eaither set.

Bngth, if you want info straight from the source, call Todd at TeamTriumph, 608-741-9900. That is where they build the Sceptres. I know they have two different size baffles. One is 1 inch diameter and the other is inch and a half. He probably can answer any question you have.

Sceptre's are great! I have them and love them! Sound is amazing! I don't think they are too loud, not even as loud as most Harleys I hear. Great finish and look. You won't be dissapointed!

Thanks for the info, will contact Team Triumph to see what they say. I want to increase HP if possible, $600.00 plus seems a lot to pay for just noise! :-D

I am really happy with the sceptres. I don't have the extra baffles, but I don't think they are too loud, they are just right.

And you will pick up some HP. And they come with a re jet kit.

A friend of mine has the Scepter. Very Loud.
I went with the Thunder bike exhaust system. Im very satisfied with the performance and noise level. The noise level falls in the middle when compared to the TORS and Sceptres.

AH Thunderbike! This is the one from NZ right? I looked at those and they might be the ticket. Not sure about the logistics of getting them here, will have to research that. Could take a couple of brews to determine the right avenue for this project. OH well what a man has to do to keep the rubber on the ground.

Thats correct. I ordered them and they showed up at my house about a week later. Might want to send them an email to make sure they have them in stock or it will take longer. No issues with customs or nothing like that.

I have the sceptres and love them. I also removed the stock airbox. I love the sound! They are much louder than stock but not too loud.
