I think I'm finally going to order a larger 150/70/17 to fatten her rear end up a bit. What's best tire that will work with the stock Metzeler front tire? What's the difference between radial and bias? Which is better.

If you read your owner's manual it calls for a bias front and a radial rear. This goes against conventional wisdom but it seems to work. Since it sounds like you are only replacing the rear, go for the radial.
